During a particularly difficult time in my life, I was looking for something to help me manage stress. I took a semester of yoga during my senior year of college and enjoyed it so I decided to try it out again. I took my first class at Mystic in October 2012. It wasn't anything like I remembered doing in college, but I loved it! The Baptiste Power Yoga Methodology gets you sweating and out of your comfort zone in no time. It was the perfect way for me to get my mind off what was going on outside of class. By developing a regular practice, I've gained strength, flexibility, and overall better health, as well as a quieter mind and greater compassion towards myself and others. Michele and the Mystic teachers are committed to your growth as a student and inspire you to challenge yourself, both physically and mentally. I learned a lot about myself during my training and am grateful for the support Michele and the rest of the Mystic teachers provided along the way. My goal as a teacher is to share what I've learned with the Mystic community and leave the students feeling like anything is possible!
